Colors that enhance blue eyes
This post is about colors that make blue eyes look brighter, blue...er, and more noticable!
So after doing some research, I found out that warm browns, peaches, orange, and rose colors are good shadow colors to use on blue eyes. Basically, to make you eyes really POP, use colors that contrast your eye color! OF COURSE, wear whatever colors you want!! But those are just the colors that will really make blue eyes stand out. :) Blue eyeshadow similar tone to your eyes will look like one big blue ball, lol... at least it did on me :P Still, if it's pretty, go for it!

EVERYDAY MINERALS
Hi!!
HERE are a bunch of pictures from my everyday minerals order!
Like I said, I got the 6 piece custom kit. Check out the video for what I got. I also included all the samples that I've ever gotten (which is two free kits worth). If you're interested in trying out mineral makeup, then check out everyday minerals.com
IMPORTANT: when choosing your foundation formula (either original glo, semi-matte, matte, or intensive) just know this: if you have dry skin that needs little coverage, I would try original glo. If you have combination skin with minor or little "imperfections", try semi-matte. For people with oily skin, try matte. For those with any type of skin (especially acne, although not major), try the intensive.
What I got (in my 6 piece custom kit)....
Long Handled Kabuki Brush
New Flat Top Buffer Brush
Start to Finish Rice Powder (fair)
Cool-Fair foundation (intensive)
Mint concealer
Intensive fair concealer
***Click the LINKS if you're not able to see the whole picture, my blog template cuts them off!***

Smokey purple & wonkey eye
Hi!
So a couple days ago I decided to do a purple smokey eye. It's not very dramatic, because I hate putting liner on my waterline (which really makes a smokey eye smokey). But anyways, I think it turned out very pretty; I love the colors :)
ALSO... whoever's reading this: please tell me if I'm just imagining I have a wonkey eye (one eye is a different shape than the other) or if you really see it!!?! Third pic, with my eyes open! I noticed this in all of the pictures of myself, but am I just being too observant or something??? I'm pretty self-contious about it, b/c whever I smile big, I have to really concentrate on not squinting one eye... my left eye squints & gets much smaller than my right! It's very odd, lol.
hehe oh brother! :)

Halloween, 80s glam
Hi!
Hope you had a fun & safe Halloween! I though I would be content just staying home and passing out candy to the trick-or-treaters, but then everyone else left and I got so bored.
So this Halloween I dressed up as "80's glam". If I were to re-do it, I wouldn't have gone so heavy on the eye makeup! It was SUCH a pain to get off!! Hah, but still it was fun to do something that I don't normally do.
Smokey eyes:
THen, it turned into "80's glam...Madonna inspired" (I'm not a fan of Madonna, but she was THE 80s glam icon!...

On another note... I got my everyday minerals package yesterday WAHOOO! :D Super excited to be restocked with my mineral makeup! I'm really glad it got here in only THREE days cause I was completely out of my sample foundation!
Did you know....
there are certain chemicals in foundation that can cause cancer? Switch to mineral makeup, it's much healthier for your skin!

Nice find at Marshalls!
Hi! :)
Okay, so I just had to post this! I went shopping at Marshalls today, because I heard they sell some good makeup at a discounted price and I wanted to check it out. I never even knew Marshalls sold makeup! They had Lacome, Stila, Too Faced (a full size of lash injection mascara, lip injection gloss, and wrinkle injection filler for only $16!)... but I had no need whatsoever for any of those things, so I steered away (yay me, lol). However, what caught my eye was this M.B. York survival of the prettiest "FULL FACE ARTILLERY" kit. It has 6 shadows, an all over face powder (I'll probably use it as eyeshadow), 2 lipsticks, and 2 blushes. I'm thinking "Dang...this is only 8 bucks and the colors are soo pretty.. I'm totally getting this!" I've never heard of M.B. York before though, so I didn't know if it was a good brand or anything like that. So now that I'm home, I was curious to see how much the actual company is selling it for. Guess how much? NINETY-FIVE dollars!!!! Oh-my-gosh...seriously?? (You can check it out and see a picture here: http://mbyork.com/fullface.html)
The colors are so pretty, and really pigmented! They are, however, verrrry powdery. Luckily, I don't really mind that too much at all, so I'm happy. :) :) :)
So if you're looking for good quality makeup at a decent price, check out your Marshalls! Just know that there is only a small section, and you'll have to look around probably. Mine was around the accessories & bath stuff.
P.S. If you don't have a Marshalls near you, check out T.J. Maxx...I'm pretty sure they are owned by the same corp.
